Introduction

Allows Microsoft Internet Explorer URL 'Favorites' files to be used on RISC OS.

Details

I regularly bring home on my RISC OS machine Internet Explorer 'Favorites'
files. These are files ending with the postfix .url and usually live in the
Favorites folder of IE4, 5 or 6 on a PC machine running Windows 95-XP.

But until I wrote this little free RISC OS app I had to manually edit these
Favorites files to extract the URL address contained within if I want to
use them with Fresco, Netsurf or Oregano2.

Now I don't have to. :-)

All I've got to do is filetype them &1BA (or IEURL if you prefer) and make
sure the tiny !IEurl app is set in !Boot to be run by the Filer at bootup.

So now I just doubleclick on a Internet Explorer URL file and it loads the
web page into Fresco, NetSurf or Oregano2.
