Introduction

DigSigGen will generate precision CD standard audio signals for test and measurement purposes.

Details

Digital Signal Generator will generate precision 16-bit CD-audio standard signals for test and measurement purposes. The generated signals can be played immediately via the computers in-built D/A card, or recorded onto CD ROM.
This can be used to make highly accurate test CDs for HiFi engineers, or for measuring the spcifications of CD players, computer sound cards, or calibrating any other electronic instrumentation. A 32768-point FFT is shown, with 1/3 octave band filters. Optimal dithering. Waveforms include sine, square, triangular, gaussian white or pink random noise, etc. Log or lin frequency sweeps, tone-bursts, multi-window function. Probability density display. Everything the audio engineer could want! Read the review on Rogers' homepage.
